Paypal
PayPal is the pioneer of online payment services. It allows you to pay for purchases, receive payments, or send and receive money. To benefit from these services, a person must create an account and then transmit various bank details to PayPal, such as the payment card number. Subsequently, transactions are carried out without having to re-communicate your bank details, an email address and a password being sufficient.

Paypal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol with 128-bit encryption key (the highest level available). With Paypal, you can pay directly with your Paypal account or pay with your credit card.

In the event of non-delivery, your money is blocked by Paypal until the dispute is resolved. If the package is not delivered to you, you can decide to open a dispute with the platform, and if we do not find an agreement, the amount will be refunded to you in full. It is the reference payment system for consumer protection.

PayPal was acquired in 2002 by eBay for 1.5 billion US dollars, in particular because about half of the auction site's transactions used PayPal and eBay's internal system was not as popular.
